At the law offices of Stephens, Anderson & Cummings , we would like to take a moment to thank all of our clients and to wish our families and loved ones a safe and happy Thanksgiving in 2014.
We would also like to take the opportunity to remind drivers that by simply reducing your speed by a few MPH and taking some extra time to get to your destination, can be all the difference in arriving at your destination safely, compared to potentially becoming involved in a serious auto accident.
In the event that you or your loved ones are traveling to spend time with your families during the holiday period, it's also worth considering to pack a light emergency kit in your vehicle, as you may encounter an unexpected situation that requires you to spend extra time in your vehicle.
Some items to include are:
- Bottles of water
- Granola bars
.... all of these items can help to either keep you fed, keep you hydrated, keep you warm or to keep you visible to other motorists.
Stay safe and stay warm in your travels and Happy Thanksgiving!
